Added a postal design guide for the Italian post for items with the datamatrix code. The Export Data Wizard now supports the selection of rows that will be exported. Build 51 New features Added Print to PDF on the Print tab in FlexMail. The current selection of rows on the datasheet can now be selected as range when printing. Added Conditional Queueing of rows based on a rule so rows can be added to the queue based on fields meeting a condition. Updated document areas containing barcodes on PDF documents. When necessary, a barcode type can be selected and the Databar barcode is added as supported type. Postal Added the USPS Certified Mail barcode. Added the Premium Adres Pressepost barcode, postal datasource, and indicia for Germany. Fixed previewing and printing of postal documents. Other features and fixes Cleaned up the storage of projects. Per project there is now a project file (.fm4) and a single directory with the same name that contains all related files. Improved accuracy for document area selection for PDF files. Fixed an error in the Simple rule dialog. Updated the Teamviewer application to the latest version. All communications with the Flex Systems server in now done over a secure (https) connection. Build 34 Added Batch processing to FlexMail as part of the Advanced and Professional editions. New example batch XML-files are installed in the FlexMail installation folder. Corrected the ink calculator for Astro/Neopost/Quadient/FP printers so that the ink usage is now calculated using the correct DPI setting. Printing could be slow when the view was synchronized and zoomed in on the screen. Fixed an issue were printing PDF-files directly to the printer could give black pages when the page was a graphics image. Fix for creating pdf files where the pdf was not positioned correctly in the output file. Fix for printing to PFD-files where the background image was not printed. Build 33 Fixed an error where rotated PDF pages displayed incorrectly. Corrected a problem where functions in templates with databases were not always evaluated correctly on opening the template. After merging files, the file ID's were not displayed correctly. Build 31/32 USPS processing Added Single address validation / checking for interactive checking of individual addresses. Added EPS account text to payment options. The service will automatically use the EPS account when available. Cass and NCOA reports are moved to the project folder. Corrected an error in the de-dupe service of the USPS wizard. Duplicates were not removed from the file, but added to "Not Sorted" group. Help file updated for USPS Wizard. HP2 printer Improved the Alignment wizard for the Specialty HP2 printer. Added distance and speed to the Test Encoder dialog. Corrected an error where positioning of printed image changed when changing the print resolution. Other improvements and additions When splitting the print to PDF file, the file name is made unique and mail pieces are being kept together. ZIP code formatting improved to allow for ZIP codes starting with a "0" and added separate Plus4 formatting. Column names starting with a number are now automatically preceded by an underscore to make the name acceptable for scripting and functions. Other fixes Fixed an error where rotated PDF pages displayed incorrectly. Find Duplicates with the List Only option could crash. Error line indication corrected in Functions and scripting. Build 29/30 Fixed an issue that caused the program to shut down when displaying a PDF page containing an image larger than the page size. Corrected an issue that could cause pages to print black. Several improvements in the USPS service: Added old-style tray labels to be used for non-automation mail to USPS processing reports. Corrected the minimal and maximum weight settings for updating the Mail.dat file. The switch "Include NCOA drops" did not work correctly. Build 22 Print quality of pdf files is improved and made faster by sending less data to the printer. Pdf-files with pages of different page size are now displayed in the chosen page size. Pages that are larger then the chosen output format will be scaled and pages that are smaller will be centered on the page. When saving output to a PDF-file, illegal characters in folder and filename are replaced by an underscore. Fixed an issue where printed PDF-pages could be completely black or empty. Resizing a PDF-file as background did not work correctly. Images added as background on label pages were not positioned and printed correctly. Labels were printed twice when duplex was chosen. Labels did not print at all when records were queued. Auto shapes were only printed on the first label on label pages. Built in additional security against internal databases being locked by the PC when opening an existing project. Build 20 Addressed an issue where backgrounds and pictures did not always display and print correctly. Fixed an issue with picture cropping. Fixed an issue where the resulting database after postal processing could be empty. When a file with additional user defined fields is processed with the USPS or Royal Mail engine and the results are written to a new file, the new file will contain the (fixed) result from the user defined fields and the original field definitions will be removed. Build 19 PDF files linked 'as a database' in FlexMail can now be presorted. Requires FlexMail Professional in order to capture the original address data from the PDF. Build 18 Fixed a problem where additional datasources added to the datasheet could be lost after running postal sortation. Addressed an issue where a project could be unexpectedly locked when opening an new project. Build 17 Changed the functionality of the Guess button when linking text files. All fields will be set to text as data type by default. The data type can still be changed manually to an other datatype (e.d. date, number) if necessary. Various small fixes.
